(Equivalant to first 2 years of a Bachelor Degree)
The NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business is a regulated qualification. The qualification makes up the second year of the Bachelor Degree or NCC Education degree journey, exposing students to greater detail and more advanced topics in a range of areas including economics, marketing, finance and management.
Information Systems and Knowledge Management – Students will develop a critical understanding of the strategic roles of information and knowledge management systems in contemporary organisations together with a critical appreciation of tools, implementation approaches and appraisal methods that contribute to their successful use.
International Marketing Strategy- Students will develop a critical understanding of international marketing strategy in the context of global operations. Students will learn to effectively satisfy the strategic objectives of organisations in domestic markets and across national borders.
Corporate Finance and Decision Making – The purpose of this unit is to impact students’ understanding of the importance of, accountability for, and control over a business organisation’s financial resources. It will equip students with the skills necessary for sound organisational financial management at a strategic level.
Leadership, People and Change – Students will develop a keen understanding of the modern complexities of and new thinking about how to lead successful organisations in the turmoil of today’s business environment.
Digital Marketing and Communications – Students will develop a critical understanding of the impact of digital transformation on the formation of an organisation’s marketing strategy and communications in order to effectively implement powerful digital marketing campaigns that engage and convert the contemporary customer.
Entrepreneurship and Innovation – Students will understand that entrepreneurship is a key area of businesses. It applies to small sole traders and large corporations. The link with innovation is symbiotic and the focus of this unit on both areas highlights how enterprises grow and the benefits and risks to innovation.
Strategic Management – Students will gain a thorough understanding of the process of strategy formation, development and implementation to improve organisational performance and create competitive advantage.
Project Management – Students will be introduced to the discipline and profession of project management and learn transferable skills that help them succeed in a project environment.

NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES)
UK Level 3 Diploma in Business or UK RQF Level 3 Diploma in Computing or any other subject.
OR An international qualification which is deemed to be of a similar level to the NCC Education L3IFDHES or L3DB qualification. This shall be agreed with NCC Education in advance.
OR One ‘A’ Level or equivalent,
or an appropriate Senior Secondary School Leavers’ certificate deemed to be of a similar level If a potential student’s first language is not English, they must also reach the English Language requirements of either: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum score of 5.5. Alternatively, take the free NCC Education Higher English Placement Test, which is administered by RIMS.
OR GCE ‘O’ Level English C6.
Mature applicants will be considered for entry if they are able to demonstrate over 2 years of relevant work experience; AND Have GCE ‘O’ Level / IGCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

The NCC Education Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business (L3EDB), regulated by OFQUAL, is a Pre-University Bridging Programme that enables learners to develop in-depth knowledge and skills across key areas of business.
Students are required to complete six of the following eight units:
Business Economics– examines how an organisation can achieve its objectives most efficiently through the application of micro-economic theory and the tools of analysis of decision science, such as statistics and quantitative methods. It demonstrates how economic analysis can be used in formulating business policies.
Advanced Business Mathematics – provides an understanding of how a number of statistical and mathematical techniques are applied in economic and business decision-making.
Marketing in Business – highlights the need for managers to view the role of marketing as critical to their organisation. The crucial role of marketing in contributing to the success of organisations is emphasised.
Human Resources in Business – explores the dynamic role of human resource management policies and practices in contemporary organisations and their contribution to the goals of those organisations. It defines and critically examines the major philosophies, policies, procedures and practices related to the management of human resources.
Understanding Consumer Behaviour – provides an understanding of customers’ needs and the complexity of the decision making process customers undertake in both consumer and industrial markets.
Principles of Business Operations – explores the operations management function and its basis in creating and sustaining effective and efficient operations which deliver the products or services in a manner which achieves the objectives of the organisation. You will analyse this with respect to cost, quality, flexibility, dependability and speed.
Financial Management – builds on your knowledge of fundamental financial concepts in financial and management accounting by considering the applications of these topics in a business environment and by examining a set of more advanced issues.
Information Systems and Organisations – introduces the subject of information systems and technology in organisations, taking a broad management perspective. Students will gain an understanding of the current and future role of information systems in modern organisations, including an appreciation of the social, cultural and political aspects that are important to the successful adoption of technology.
Students should have completed their GCSE/IGCSE ‘O’ Levels or an equivalent* qualification in their own country and passed 4 subjects with minimum grades of ‘C’, ‘4’ or equivalent* in each. These should include Mathematics and English.
The NCC Education Level 3 Business suite syllabus and assessment is suitable for candidates aged 16 and above (at Key Stage 4 of the English national curriculum) as well as older (including adult) learners.
Students who successfully complete the NCC Education Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business can progress to the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business, or to First Year of a bachelor’s degree, further enhancing their knowledge and skills to prepare for higher education or professional roles in the business sector.

The NCC Education Level 7 Diploma in Business Management is an Ofqual regulated qualification that will help you understand and apply up to date management theory and practice in the fields of marketing, information strategy, project management, finance, leadership and entrepreneurship.
